Donovan Faith UPDATE: 4-25-06 Well Doran arrived after 16 long hours of hard labor and he is definitely worth every bit of pain....he is so precious and a miracle from god..He was born on April 20 at 12:03 AM...he got me an extra day of rest at the hospital (well it seemed that way anyways)....I enjoyed every min. of alone time with him...He looks like Donovan and the conemaugh website picture looks nothing like him....check it out at conemaugh.org and click on nursery...look for Doran Michael and clcik the blue link....I will have to get more digital pics on here...it takes time though....he is 19 1/2 in. and 6 lb. 10 oz. and is tiny to me compared to the other boys...he is such a little bundle of love...he has dark hair in the back....a good bit too...Donovan's lightened up, maybe his will tooo??? He is doing fine and loves to nurse...He learned quickly...His daddy loves to hold him and cuddle him on his chest in the recliner.  Big Brother Dalton loves to hold him all by himself and kiss and love him gently...Big Brother Donovan gets so excited that he wakes up in the middle of the night to check on us, kisses his baby brother and goes back to bed...he is so big..or is it that Doran is so small....Well gotta go and change a diaper and nurse...god Bless alll of you.... We are trying to get Donovan regulated. The medicine is working now that we are not giving him too much. He is sleeping a little better at night and had 2 full nights of sleep in his little bed. I am up worrying and praying, but I trust in the Lord for he is good. Donovan's older sister, Destiny, just had her third birthday in Heaven on May 9th and he runs to her stone at the cemetary and yells, "sissy...sissy...sissy". It is like he knows her. Our older son, Dalton 6yrs. still misses his sister very much and says that we should not be sad, but happy because we will see her in Heaven some day. Children are so precious, we should really listen to them because they are usually right!!! God Bless all of you! Love, Shawn, Staci, Dalton, and Donovan, and our little angel in Heaven UPDATE: 5-3-04 We tried a new regiment and now he has severe diareaha..all weekend long....severe almost to the point of dehydration..please keep him in prayer and thanks for your advice...thanks and god bless...staci UPDATE: 4-30-04 Donovan is having difficulty still. We continue to pray for a healing touch rather than a medical process or procedure. We talked with Children's Hospital and they recommended a medication. We started it 4 days ago and have still not seen positive progress. I worry because he is about 8 pounds underweight. We want him to grow and be healthy. He is tiny but talks and has fun with all of us and knows what we are talking about...He is a smart little boy that is loved by everyone. God Bless and thank you for remembering us.. UPDATE: 8-22-03 Donovan is doing much better with his acid reflux disease and his bowel movement problems...he is being introduced to real milk and is doing pretty well. Please pray for his lungs to be strengthened over the next few months as he will have a rough winter with colds and have a hard time breathing. Thank you all for your ongoing prayers. We pray that he will continue to gain weight and develop. God bless each of you. UPDATE: 5-22-03 This is in reguards to Donovan Faith for prayer requests…God has answered our prayers….Donovan does not need surgery.
