UPDATE: 7-31-10
I am so sorry that I have not updated Bethany's webpage in so long. It has been a great time for her. She has turned 16 and doing much better. She does still continue to have seizure activity, but is chosing to live her life to the best of her ability. We are praying for her return to school next month, but if we need to be on homebound, we will.
Gregg's job is going well, and we are doing so much better now. Not out of the hole by far, but trucking to the top more and more day by day.
I also wanted to thank everyone on behalf of Bethany, for all of the prayers, messages, and also the cards. She has gotten an abundant amount of cards lately, I think almost 100 last month. It is so incredible the love that people can give, and how even at 16, a card, helps make the rough days better. I pray for blessings on each one of you!
We love you. I will keep you updated better.
God Bless You!
UPDATE: 2-13-10
Well several things to update on this last month. First Bethany went back to school this semester unfortunately we have decided to place her back on homebound. She is just not able to stay caught up she's missed so much school. She is having some racing heartrates so we've had some heart testing done. They have shown it is a change in her heartrate probably due to stress, so homefully getting her back on homebound and all the stress of going to school feels like. She had an episode at school last week & blackeed out for approx 20 mins. She has no idea how she got in the girls restroom just came to & she was in there. We took her to the er they checked her out. Her dr said they do feel sure it was seizure activity that caused it. It was real scarey for all of us!! Her boyfriends mother passed away a couple of weeks ago. I'm really proud of how she's handled this and how she's been there for Patrick. He is doing well right now. And GREGG GOT 0A JOB!!! Not just a job but a really good job!!! He started Feb 1st. Bethany will have insurance March 1st!! Thank u to everyone that has prayed for our family!! We love u all very much!!!
UPDATE: 1-5-10
I'm so sorry it has taken me SO long to update Bethany's Site. She was put on homebound and I have been really busy with her. She has had a lot of sicknesses during this time. She had a kidney stone, and two bouts of Bronchitis, a bad ear infection. She does have bronchitis right now, but does seem to be doing better overall. She is supposed to be going back to school on Tuesday but still has not finished her hours from last semester. Her teacher has only been to the house one time. It's took a long time to get it set up because of the Thanksgiving holidays, and now with Christmas. I'm praying she is going to be able to be back in school fulltime, just for her. She just seems to sink into a depression while she is not in regular school. I guess she just misses her friends, she is 15 now. And 15 year old's normally just want to be with their friends and boyfriend.
I would like to thank all of you so much for the cards and gifts Bethany has received during the holiday and for all the prayers for our whole family. She just did a skit for Christmas and was the main character. She was SO good at it. They did the Everything Skit by Lifehouse. You can see the skit on youtube, but its not our youth group. We were unable to tape it, but we're hoping to do it again real soon and we do have a video camera now. She is still playing her guitar and leading her band. They have slowed down playing during the holidays but will be back playing again now. I'll try to post some Christmas pictures soon.
Thanks again for all your prayers. Gregg found a job in November with a temporary agency. It's really hard work, not much pay, but it's a job. He has two possibilities of a job this month, so please keep that in your prayers.
We love you all so much and thank you for being our support system, who we count on in our time of need.
Hope you all have a very blessed and happy new year!!!
Love,
Michelle (Bethany's Mom)

Bethany is 10 years old.
Child's Condition: JRA/Crohn's Disease/Fibromyalgia/Lupus
Comments: Bethany is having a rough time right now. She was very sick when she was about 6, and since then, she has been doing fairly well. She has just recently been told about Lupus, and it has suppressed her immune system. She is on almost full homebound from school. We could really use as many prayers as we can get right now. I am watching her become more than just down in the dumps. I'm really afaid of depression.
