Adopt A Child Guidelines Adopt A Child is not a literal adoption. When you "Adopt a Child", you are selecting a child or children from the website which you wish to give support and love. This support and love can be as little or as much as you wish. You will show this love and support by sending cards, letters, emails, small gifts, and making phone calls. If a child has a financial need you might choose to have a fundraiser to help fulfill the need. The opportunities are endless and entirely up to you. There are no specific "have tos". Should you decide you would like to adopt a child or children, you would simply email me with your name, address, and phone number. I will then contact you by phone to verify your desire. After we have talked, the parents of the child or children you have chosen will be contacted for permission to give you their contact information. Upon obtaining all necessary permissions, you will be mailed a packet on your child/children with all necessary information included. For the protection of our children, references may be asked for before giving you their personal information.
